We get it, tummy time can feel like a lot. We know how much pressure there is to “do it right,” and we also know not all babies enjoy it. Some fuss, some cry, and some simply refuse. §  Tummy time means placing your baby on their belly during awake hours to help them develop neck and shoulder strength.

When?

As early as the first week after birth — start with 2–3 minutes and gradually build up.
